The Barstow Fire Protection District Proudly serves the citizens of its District through a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees for the Barstow Fire Protection District is made up of three (3) residents of the District who are elected by the people of the District. Once elected the newly formed officials of the district vote on a President, Secretary and a Treasurer. All administrative duties such as the District's Budget and By-laws are carried out by these Trustees monthly. The Board of Trustees also have the responsibility of appointing a Fire Chief and an Assistant Fire Chief as well as approving all applications for membership.
